Lia Moody

Registered Massage Therapist

Lia graduated from Mount Royal University’s 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma program in 2015. She is a personable and empathetic therapist who genuinely loves working with people and helping them feel their best.
 
Lia takes a personalized approach to every treatment, recognizing that everyone comes to massage therapy with different needs and goals. She enjoys the variety that comes with treating different people and concerns and believes that listening to her clients is an important part of creating an effective treatment plan.
 
Her treatments incorporate a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue, relaxation massage, and trigger point therapy. She has experience working with prenatal clients, TMJ, upper back and neck tension, and low back pain. She enjoys tailoring each treatment to the individual, whether the goal is relieving tension and discomfort, improving mobility, supporting the body through pregnancy, or simply taking some time to relax.
 
Lia is also currently completing her certification in cupping therapy and looks forward to incorporating this additional modality into her practice.
 
What drives Lia most is seeing her clients make progress and experience meaningful results in their everyday lives. She has always felt naturally drawn to caring for and helping others, and considers it a privilege to have a career where she can connect with people and be part of their healing journey. For Lia, helping someone move, feel, and live a little better is what makes this profession so rewarding.
